It all started when I realized that I'm a writer. I just am, and that's the way it seems to be.
I'm living a life pulled in all different directions. I teach English for 8 hours a day, come home to my studio where I help my husband with Fernweh Fox projects (whatever they may be), photograph weddings and families on weekends, and try my best to cook a delicious dinner for me and John, my new and talented bearded husband. At times, I feel very frazzled and often struggle with balancing the appropriate amount of time for each facet of my life. But doesn't everyone?
I am learning more and more about loving each and every bit of this world and finding the natural joy that seems to accompany every day. Writing keeps me grounded. It is my peace in the chaos and my song when there is no music. It may even be the "why" in the fore-mentioned quotation. I'm still figuring that out :)
